My name is Jefferson Estrada, and I am an undergraduate student at The City College of New York. This page was created for me to share my experience in writing for the sciences. The course, in general, was about learning to sharpen our writing abilities within the scientific realm as we continue to pursue careers in science. Some of the skills we have engaged in were: learning to read academic texts related to science, evaluating and practicing strategies in scientific writing and scientific writing in incorporating sources from the library database. Overall, this course give you a foundation on how to start writing for an audience that pertains to the scientific community.
